All-day Poetry Book Fair in the Community Room: 11:30-1:30pm: Awaken the Poet Within adult workshop with lead poet Marit Anderson. 1:00-2:00pm: San Diego Poetry Annual workshop - for children (ages 6 to 12 years) provided by poet and educator, Jen Laffler. 1:30-2:00pm: Publishing 101 - An overview of the book publication process, with special attention to the indie publishing approach, with Poet/Publisher Bethel Swift. 2:30-4:30pm: An open mic for poets of all ages to perform and celebrate poetry. Featuring award-winning teen poet, Otto Lana, performing originals works!
